Costco recall Dr Praeger’s Frozen Organic Veggie Burgers over food poisoning fears

Due to the fear of food poisoning, a batch of frozen organic burgers has been recalled by the Costco Wholesale.

Costco Wholesale is a well-known superstore that provides the products to medium and small-sized shops all over the United Kingdom. Recently, they have recalled Dr. Praeger’s organic vegan burgers.

The Food Standard Agency explained that there is a chance that some particular food items are contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This is why they have announced the recall.

This type of bacteria can cause flu-like symptoms.

The recall is linked to an ongoing listeria outbreak in the US being investigated by the U.S Food and Drug Administration.

Customers of members-only retailer Costco who purchased the products have been written to.
